Strength Training for Adults 60+ in Acworth

Coached strength and balance work built for how bodies work after 60: every movement scaled to you, in a group small enough that your coach sees every rep.

Strong Enough for the Life You Want

Carrying the groceries in one trip. Getting up off the floor after playing with the grandkids. A full day at Lake Allatoona without paying for it the next morning. Strength after 60 isn't about the number on the bar; it's about keeping the capabilities that make life easy and independent. That's what we train for.

Scaled to You, Every Session

You won't be handed a workout designed for someone half your age. Your coach starts from what your body can do today and builds from there: the load, the range of motion, and the pace are all adjusted to you. Balance and stability work is part of the program, not an afterthought, and every session begins with a guided warm-up so nothing is rushed.

Old Injuries Welcome

Stiff shoulders, a knee that complains on stairs, a back you've learned to babysit: most people over 60 have something. Yes, in most cases you can still train. We learn your history during your Starting Point Session and build modifications directly into your program, so you train hard where you can and smart where you need to. If you're managing a health condition, bring your doctor's guidance and we'll build around it.

A Group That Gets It

Sessions are capped at six people, so there's no hiding in a crowd and no keeping up with a class that isn't built for you. You'll train alongside people who are there for the same reasons you are, with a coach who knows your name, your history, and your limits.

Strength training for adults 60+ happens inside small group personal training, with progress measured by InBody scans and reviewed in your monthly accountability session. Thinking longer term? See longevity training. And through October 12, founding membership gets you first pick of session times and our founders rate.

Common Questions

Is Alloy a good fit if I'm over 60?

Yes. Alloy's small group format was built for adults 40 and over, and that includes members well into their 60s and 70s. Your coach scales every movement to your body, balance and stability work is built into your program, and the group is small enough that nothing gets missed. If you're managing a health condition, bring your doctor's guidance to your Starting Point Session and we'll build around it.

I have an old injury (bad knee, shoulder, back). Can I still train at Alloy?

Yes, in most cases. We learn your history during your Starting Point Session and build modifications directly into your program, so you train hard where you can and smart where you need to.

Do I have to be in shape already to join?

Not at all. Alloy is built for people who are starting out, starting over, or getting back into training after time away. We meet you where you are, with individualized coaching and programming tailored to your abilities, experience, and goals in every session.

Is this like CrossFit or a bootcamp?

No. There are no competitions, no whiteboard leaderboards, and no pushing through pain. Alloy is structured strength training with a coach who knows your name and your limits, in groups small enough that nothing gets missed.

Every Membership Starts the Same Way

Getting started is simple. Schedule a Starting Point Session: a no-pressure session where we assess how your body actually moves, talk through your goals and history, and map out a plan built around you. It's where you find out exactly what training with us will look like.
